Job description
As Financial Controller within this Manufacturing business, responsibilities will include: responsibility for ensuring reporting systems by providing timely and accurate data (Cognos); producing the statutory accounts, managing all financial ledger activity & dealing with tax planning issues with Tax Advisors; leading the production of consolidated results & monthly performance commentary for circulation to the banks and shareholders. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a solid reporting and systems background. You should be able to demonstrate both developed accounting technical standards and experience of tax planning. You must possess 1st class communication skills, a strong commercial awareness and a common sense approach to effectively creating business solutions. You must be self-motivated, a natural leader and have the analytical foresight to develop the financial & strategic commitments within the business. A £100m turnover Manufacturing business, based in Northamptonshire, is currently recruiting a high calibre Financial Controller.
