Job description
An international Manufacturing organisation with a market leading product range seeks an experienced Financial Controller to head its Finance function in Norwich. Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for: preparation of monthly management accounts including full commentary & KPI reporting; project cost accounting; preparation of budgets and forecasts; maintenance & reporting of accurate information on stock control, work in progress and order book; cash flow reporting; treasury management and liaison with bank re-foreign currencies and international letters of credit & bank guarantees; preparation of year end accounts and provision of year end information and file for Auditors; responsible for maintenance of purchase ledger, sales ledger and nominal ledger; preparation of VAT returns; preparation of monthly payroll and PAYE & NIC compliance and dealing with employee benefits; preparation of P11Ds; managing a team of 2 staff. Candidate requirements: qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA; hands-on approach; manufacturing background (ideal but not essential); strong Excel skills and the ability to be able to maximise the potential of their ERP system.
