Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Financial Controller to join a large forward-thinking business in the East Midlands. The successful applicant will play a major part in the senior leadership team by providing a genuine business partnering solution to operational and commercial line Managers. You will need to be CCAB qualified with strong academics with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will need to be a leader of people who can manage a strong team of qualified Accountants and get the best of their financial outputs. Key objectives for the role include supporting the Senior Management team in planning, forecasting and maximising revenues. Providing valuable decision support information and driving strategic planning. Your leadership skills within a commercially driven environment will need to stand out, and delivering on key corporate objectives will be a must. The successful candidate will need to have strong systems skills, be an excellent communicator at all levels and be the type of professional who wants to be challenged and wants to drive business forward. Only the very best candidates will be considered for the position so a strong business acumen and financial background is essential.
