Job description
A Financial Controller is required to undertake all-round Finance role. The role will be a No 1 role in the Finance department, supporting the MD and other Senior Managers. You will manage a small team and will take a hands-on approach leading the team and ensuring financial controls are sufficient and adhered to. The successful candidate must be a qualified Accountant. You will be a driven character, self-motivated and hard working. The company is in the process of commencing a systems implementation, therefore exposure in this area would be beneficial. Previous experience of leading and developing a team is an essential attribute to the role. My client is a £10m turnover Manufacturing business, looking at growing the business organically over the next 2 years to c£20m. This offers the successful candidate an opportunity to not only improve the performance of the Finance team, but also assist the MD in the strategic growth of the business.
