Job description
A hands-on role controlling all accounting and financial matters, reporting to the MD, with line management responsibility for a team of three. This will include preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and taking responsibility for cash flow forecasts, KPIs, VAT returns and liaison with the bank and Auditors. Other tasks will include: ensuring that processes relating to invoicing and credit control are efficient and effective; assessment of the efficiency of the various transaction processes functions, with a view to reducing costs and/or improving service; to provide timely, accurate and appropriate management information; to be customer-orientated. responding to customers’ needs and cooperating with and supporting customers. A qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with proven post qualified experience within financial control or commercial finance environment and a proven track record of progression. You will have strong IT skills with experience of systems or process development, evaluation and improvement. A team player demonstrating maximum flexibility it is expected that the successful candidate will work towards becoming a board Director, increasing their package with improved profitability and having greater autonomy in running the business in the possible absence of the other two Operational Directors.
