Excellent opportunity to join a successful Manufacturing organisation based in Plymouth as Financial Controller.
Reporting directly to the CFO, responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly accounts.
- Control of capital expenditure.
- Maintain costing rates including labour, variable overhead and fixed overhead.
- Supervise the activities of the Assistant Accountant.
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with monthly reports including variance analysis.
- Work in conjunction with the CFO and section heads on annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Review weekly profit estimates.
Liaise with:
- The Financial Accountant.
- The IT Manager & department.
- Various Department Heads.
Who we're looking for
- Qualified Accountant; ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a complex manufacturing operation involving multiple rates and manufacturing departments is a prerequisite.
