Job description
A successful Manufacturing business in Prescot is looking for a qualified Financial Controller to take control of the site's finances and support the General Manager. This business has grown substantially over the last 5 years and is now an important asset to its parent company. With ongoing investment and cash positive position this company has been able to continue growing despite poor performances by competitors. Following recent contract wins and ongoing demand from existing customers this site is poised for further growth - the parent company has committed further funds to the site for a number of Capex projects. The Financial Controller will form part of the Senior Management team and be responsible for weekly and monthly financial and management accounts. The role holder must be able to prioritise their workload in order to satisfy group and site demands. There is a team of 4 in accounts who report into this role. In addition to day-to-day work they are also about to start a new ERP implementation so previous experience within this field is desirable.
