Job description
RD Financial Recruitment is acting exclusively on behalf of this fast growing supplier to the construction industry in relation to the recruitment of a Financial Controller based just North of Reading. Reporting to the MD your key responsibility is to provide management and statutory information support to the company and commercial operations and to be proactive in relation to cost control. Key tasks of the Financial Controller include preparation of all management and financial accounts for local management. You will also have responsibility for all general ledger accounting & controls ensuring that all balance sheet reconciliations have been performed and that all statutory returns have been filed including VAT and PAYE. The Financial Controller will also implement budget and forecasting activities and continue further the integration of the Finance function into the business as a whole and take on responsibility for other functions over time. Ideally you will be a part-qualified/qualified Accountant with previous Sage experience and in return you will receive a salary of between £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits and the opportunity to grow as the company grows.
