Genesis also provides property management and maintenance services to others. The Shenstone arm is a company set up by Genesis to handle the maintenance and repairs for their property portfolio.
Financial Controller - Shenstone - Circa £55k plus Benefits
Reporting to the Deputy FD you will take responsibility for the strategy and delivery plans for Shenstone's Finance function and aligning the subsidiary with the Association's objectives.
- Working closely with the Management team for the subsidiary in regards to business development, growth, service improvement and ensuring high levels of performance.
- Responsible for managing the financial health of the company and advising management in accordance with Genesis and Shenstone's arrangements.
- Providing strong leadership for the Finance team, taking responsibility for staff development and recruitment.
- Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Shenstone board, Directors and residents.
You must be a fully qualified Accountant with strong leadership skills and have experience of working for an SME or subsidiary of a larger organisation. The ideal candidate will have exposure to negotiating and understanding complex contracts, and have an interest and demonstrable experience of running an operational business.
