Job description
A Financial Controller is required to take full responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting, improvement and strategy for this substantial, Shropshire based manufacturing site. Specifically this will include financial reporting, 3 year strategic planning, standard costing and plant efficiency analysis as well as managing the entire Finance function. The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACMA or ACCA qualified and have substantial experience in lead finance plant based role. You will have excellent exposure to standard costing, excellent technical ability and be used to working closely with senior management and contributing to strategic and commercial decision-making. My client is an industry leading and instantly recognisable manufacturing organisation with various facilities across the UK. It has performed extremely well despite the tough economic conditions and is well placed in its chosen market. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
