Financial Controller
An exceptional opportunity to join a fast growing, privately owned, Finance company based in Portsmouth. This role would be ideal for a commercially aware, qualified Accountant. You would need to be confident, articulate and looking to add value. Given two out of three of the Board are Chartered Accountants with years of experience in running listed companies, you will have support in your role and rapid progression is expected from the right candidate.
Having secured funding to allow us to expand significantly over the next 3 years we now need to put in place the processes to enable this expansion. You will work closely with the Executive Directors to make this happen.
Your responsibilities:
- Monthly P&L production.
- Board reporting.
- Cash flow and working capital management.
- Running the budget and business planning process.
- Helping to raise new finance.
- Liaising with the existing providers of finance.
- Ad hoc commercial projects.
- Statutory and regulatory reporting.
About You
You will be first time pass qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA. Experience in the Finance sector is not vital. It is far more important that you can demonstrate strong analytical skills and the determination to deliver results.
