Job description

Financial Controller

Asset & Land Group is a multifaceted service provider in materials Recovery, Recycling & Regeneration at the forefront of complete materials disposal solutions. A fast growing SME, privately owned and entrepreneurially managed by its experienced CEO, Asset and Land Group now requires an ambitious, commercially-aware Financial Controller/Manager to fill this newly created role as the Group focuses on developing one of its two core divisions.

Reporting directly to the Group FD and initially working closely to create a system of robust and effective financial controls and procedures, you will be responsible for provide analysis and information to the Group’s Directors to aid decision-making. You will prepare accurate and timely management reports, profit and cash forecasts and job costing reports. You will also be responsible for payroll and VAT returns, credit control management and supplier payments.

Experience of a dynamic, privately owned organisation possibly with long-term contract management in the construction or demolition sector would be a distinct advantage.

The ideal candidate will be seeking to develop, achieve and succeed personally as the business develops over time.
