Job description
To support their next period of change a new opportunity has arisen with a small but successful business based near Stratford upon Avon. Reporting to the MD this stand-alone role requires an individual who is very hands-on and confident in taking full responsibility for all areas of accounting. You will be responsible for: timely production of monthly management accounts; VAT, tax and fixed asset maintenance; monthly journal postings; preparation of annual budgets with the Management team; working capital, process improvements; liaising with External Auditors and assist with the preparation of statutory accounts. Ideally you will be fully qualified with strong communication skills, focused, highly disciplined and driven in your approach. With gravitas you will take responsibility and have the confidence to make decisions. With integrity and strong commercial acumen with strategy to drive the business forward. This excellent role would suit an energetic forward-thinking individual who is ready to add value and experience. In time the role could develop into a more senior position.
