Job description

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a very successful privately owned high volume distribution and business services group with a turnover in excess of £35m. Reporting to the Group FD, the role will be responsible for managing the Finance function on a day to day basis. This will involve ensuring, the production of the monthly accounts, forecasts and budgets by a team of 15 staff, as well as working capital management and the production of statutory information. Your primary focus will involve maintaining and developing, a robust financial control environment and the efficiency of current systems. You will also work closely with the Management team to help provide strategic direction to the business. You will be a qualified Accountant ACA, ACMA, ACCA and have relevant financial management experience gained within a similar environment. You must have strong technical accounting skills and, as well as experience within industry, a background in Chartered Practice would be looked upon favourably.
