Job description
Financial Controller/Finance Manager - US Reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance
Volt Europe is currently recruiting on behalf of an international organisation based in Redhill, Surrey, for a Financial Controller responsible directly for 5 reports. You will manage all financial reporting processes for the group of companies including management and financial accounting, tax and treasury and to help ensure compliance with all internal controls and external legal requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the Management Accounting team and financial accounting staff.
- Ensuring that accurate financial statements are produced on a timely basis, including local management accounting information, US (parent company) reporting and European/UK statutory information.
- Maintaining full compliance with internal controls including Sarbanes-Oxley (in conjunction with the Sarbanes-Oxley coordinator and Finance process owners).
- Maintaining full compliance with external legal requirements.
- Managing Treasury and banking operations including cash control and forecasting.
- Ensuring all UK tax reporting (Corporation, VAT and PAYE) is completed accurately and on time.
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes for the group.
- Coordinating systems developments across the Finance team to improve organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supporting the business planning process including decision support to the senior management.
Required Skills:
- Previous commercial experience in a fast moving services business is ideal.
- Experience of working in a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant internal control environment.
- US GAAP and US listed parent company experience.
- European financial reporting.
