Job description
My client, a recognised international brand, is looking to appoint an interim Financial Controller for a 9 month contract. As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the managing the financial controls and statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP, ensuring accurate delivery of financial reports to the parent company. Other areas of responsibility include: managing the monthly managements accounts, preparation and filing of corporation tax and VAT returns, managing the cash forecast and budgets, identifying any variances, acting as the main point of contact with the External Auditors. Due to the size and nature of the business you will need to have worked in an SME environment and have a solid technical background. In addition you will need to be either ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and have experience of managing a small team.
