Job description
A fast-growing multinational listed organisation is looking for a Financial Controller for its newly acquired Swiss operations (mainly based in Bischofszell). Reporting to the Local CFO, you will be responsible for: supervision of the local accounting operations (accounting for the Swiss and for a smaller German company); daily management of the team; monthly and annual reporting under IFRS; annual (local GAAP) statutory reporting; coordinating legal and tax matters with advisers and the Group. You must be either native or completely fluent in German (absolutely imperative) as well as fluent in English. French would be a plus. Educated to university degree level, you will also be ACA or ACCA qualified (preferably Big 4 or have audit or similar experience if from a country where accounting qualification is not required). Experience of the Swiss or German accounting/legal environment a plus.
