Job description
My client is the leading UK focused mid market private equity fund. It is now looking to add an exceptional Financial Controller to support the FD. This is a fantastic role to gain the experience required to become an FD, you will take responsibility for the Finance function, reviewing both management and statutory accounts, the outsourced own-funds business and the fund of funds business. You will have line responsibility for two staff and will be expected to mentor and appraise both in a structured manner. This is an ever-evolving company so the responsibilities are not exhaustive and you can expect to be continually involved in ad hoc projects. To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Accountant and have prior private equity experience so you are already comfortable with how the industry operates.
