As the company continues to grow and expand, a need for an experienced Financial Controller has arisen. This is a key role at the heart of the Core Accounting and Financial Control team. Working across the business in an influential role, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to drive key changes & impact business operations around the Group. Responsibilities: to oversee an accounting operation which delivers excellent service & support to a global business; being responsible for the management & development of a team of 9 (4 direct reports); close liaison with Planning and Reporting team on monthly results; to review monthly payroll; being responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the balance sheet; key audit point of contact in statutory year end process and provision of information for audit; being responsible for implementing and adherence to effective financial controls. Key skills and core competencies: previous Financial Controller type experience (managing the core Accounting function - AP/AR/Payroll); strong management experience; ability to drive change & cope with a wide range of conflicting priorities. Knowledge/qualifications: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified; strong financial control awareness; sound knowledge of current accounting standards; strong Excel skills & a good working knowledge of other MS Office tools.
