Job description
A leading, global, Technology business requires a qualified (ACA/CIMA) Financial Controller to support the VP of its Consulting arm. As a strategic and financial business advisor and P&L owner you will be responsible for the financial forecasts and accountable for the correct reporting of revenue through the accounting system. You will have full responsibility for the management of the P&L and the implementation of established accounting policies and procedures. You will be accountable for the business operations of the business unit and ensure that the adequate control systems are in place. Principal duties include: provide strategic guidance to the business leader regarding business strategy; financial due diligence and development of the plan of record for any acquisition targets; coordinate the timely completion of year end and interim audit reviews; evaluate operating results in terms of product cost, budget controls and compliance with policies and trends. The successful candidate will have a professional finance qualification with strong experience as a Financial Controller. A background in IT/Technology is desirable. Communication and leaderships skills combined with strategic planning abilities are essential. Applicants of all ages are encouraged and appointment will be made on merit alone.
