Job description
A Financial Controller is required to take the No 1 finance role within my clients Birmingham operation. Reporting to the local Managing Director you will take ownership of the Finance function, managing a team of 3 people. You be responsible for all aspects of finance with particular focus on delivering and improving management information and supporting the business decision-making process. To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with experience of running or managing a finance department. You will ideally have worked within the Financial Services sector and will be able to demonstrate achievements in the improvement of the Management Reporting process. My client is a well-established Financial Services business, with operations across the UK. They are award-winning business whose client base range from FTSE listed businesses to private individuals. This role is a new position where the successful candidate will be the Finance No 1 across the West Midlands. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
