Job description
A Financial Controller is required to provide for full financial cover during maternity leave. Working with the onsite FD, you will be charged with full control of financial matters from month end reporting to group to managing the Finance team. A full specification is available upon application. You will ideally hold a professional accounting qualification and be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to perform a Financial Controller role via your previous experience. Furthermore, you must be hands-on in your approach and be used to the pressures of reporting divisional accounts to Group. My client is part of a large national concern and is a very successful division within the larger corporate structure. The role on offer is a pivotal role not only within the business, but also one that attracts attention from the group and therefore, long-term employment prospects are very strong. This is initially offered as a fixed term contract of no less than 12 months in duration. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
