Job description

Experiencing a huge period of growth, our client an SME within the manufacturing industry is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller (ACCA/ACA/CIMA). You will oversee the operations and team members of the accounting department, taking responsibility for the department achieving their goals and objectives which also include the production of monthly financial reports, maintain a comprehensive set of controls, and ensure accuracy of the accounting system, all designed to mitigate risk. You will be involved with policies, systems, processes and personnel, inclusive of reporting and accounting as per regulatory requirements. You will need to maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. Ideally ACCA/ACCA/CIMA qualified from a manufacturing background, you will be looking to progress in your career as a Financial Controller for either SME or a subsidiary of large corporation. As well as your accounting qualification and technical skills you will be required to have Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted Accounting principles. A competitive basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 is on offer as well as an exciting opportunity to join a business that is experiencing strong growth with aggressive future development plans.
