Job description
Our client based in Worcester is recruiting for the job of Financial Controller, the role includes: preparation of monthly management accounts with explanation of variances to local management and to head office; preparation of weekly forecasts; preparation of detailed annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; payroll (up to gross) for monthly and weekly employees; liaising with other intercompany sites; balance sheet reconciliations; purchase ledger; fixed asset register; VAT; compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley; preparation of monthly board reports; preparation of client Assistant schedules for Auditors; management of vehicle fleet; supervision and development of 9 staff. You’ll be CIMA or ACCA qualified, have senior management experience, ability to communicate with all levels of management. You must be able to work accurately to tight deadlines, have sound working knowledge of Excel and Word and understanding of databases.
