Job description
Role:
- A member of the Senior Management team, attending monthly board meetings to present the financial status of the business.
- You will produce accurate accounts and financial statements, fully reconciled by the 11th working day of the month following the trading period end.
- You will be responsible for the production of budgets and forecasts and for producing reports comparing actual performance.
- Manage credit control.
- Ensure the accuracy of stock counts and valuation.
- Manage all treasury functions including management of daily headroom, reconciliation of funding facilities and foreign currency transactions.
- Liaise with the Auditors in the preparation of the statutory annual accounts and annual returns.
- Maintain fixed asset register and support production of Capex justifications for submission to the board.
- Support the Managing Director in commercial decision-making through provision of robust information like margin analysis, contribution analysis and raw material PPV data.
- All VAT, intrastat, EC sales reporting plus management of payroll and payroll returns.
- Ensure financial controls are in place and where necessary are developed.
Person:
- ACMA or ACA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven track record in a fast-paced customer focused manufacturing environment.
- Able to draw conclusions and make sound recommendations.
- Ability to integrate well within a team and get on with other people.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent analytical and IT skills.
