Job description
A privately owned Construction business in Yorkshire is looking for a No 1 in its Finance team reporting to the Board of Directors. This extremely successful business has held its own through the very turbulent times and is coming out fighting. 25m t/o business based in Yorkshire, you will have be responsible for a team of 4 in accounts and handling all the reporting for the business. You can be either qualified or QBE however, you must be from the construction industry, without having worked directly for a building or construction business you will not be suitable for this role and need not apply. You will have drive, passion and be able to lead from the front - they are looking for a new head to really drive the business forward throughout 2012 and eventually look to take on directorship and potential ownership long-term. Personality is key, you will need to work autonomously, and be able to drive performance and process for the business. These types of opportunities within SME business that are so financially stable are rare, so if you do feel you have a strong personality and have construction/building sector exposure please don’t hesitate to call for more information.
