Job description
Working for an impressive Bristol based PLC this role moves away from traditional accounting in a more commercial direction.Key to its success will be your communication and cross functional skills.You will need confidence to work with likeminded people from Finance and across differing business areas (such as Sales & Marketing).The role centres around providing improved financial performance insights, managing the monthly cycle of business performance management and lead on the forecasting process with the functions to review submissions and development of outputs for business reviews.You will play a key part in Monthly Process and ReportsMonthly analysis and review of results at a Group Sales & Group Marketing level, with issues and actions identified and ad-hoc reports to follow on areas requiring further detailed analysis.Forecasting Process and ReportsImplement Group Sales & Group Marketing financial planning and forecasting cycle, liaising with Regional Finance Directors, market Finance Managers, producing accurate, relevant and timely information delivered in the most efficient manner.Corporate PlanningGroup Sales & Group Marketing Financial Planning & Analysis team lead the financial implementation of the Corporate Planning process to ensure clear and measurable financial objectives by market that, when consolidated, deliver the Group’s Plan.Processes and Data ManagementManage any sign-off processes for EE & Americas markets/functions (Investment Applications, write-offs, etc). Review and update of certain allocated processes (such as Investment Applications, chart of accounts, adherence to finance manual, etc) to ensure they remain relevant to Group Sales & Group Marketing. StakeholdersForms business partnerships with the stakeholders outlined below resulting in a more focused drive to jointly achieve corporate goalsYou will be a qualified accountant with excellent communication skills and a proven record within commercial finance.
