Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a leading Global Bank within its treasury function. As a crucial member of the team the job holder will assist in providing direct support to various business units assisting in the analysis, planning and forecasting of its balance sheet, liquidity and capital requirements. Key Responsibilities include: assisting in the production and enhancement of the management information and analysis providing profiling, forecasting, planning & budgeting; be proactive in the development and constant improvement of the measurement and sensitivity process of the balance sheet and capital forecasting models for the business; to help identify and develop process improvement and efficiencies for the development and implementation of models (and parameters) impacting capital (both regulatory and economic) and balance sheet positions; identify, provide measurement of, and communicate balance sheet risks in order to improve economic or financial performance in support of the decision making process. The role would ideally suit a Part Qualified Accountant with an attention to detail who is able to use their skills to influence and enhance the decision making process. Knowledge of Basel II regulations and/or balance sheet management reporting would be preferred but is not essential.
