Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning Manager to join a well-respected and successful company in Kent. This is a senior position within the organisation and will take charge of the business planning process in order to maximise business performance and decision-making. Managing one member of staff and reporting to the FD, responsibilities will include: liaising with senior management in the understanding and support of long-term strategic planning; responsibility for assessing and analysing business targets; identifying planning process changes and acting as the driving force behind implementing these changes; preparation of MI reporting and development of financial modelling. Candidates will be commercially astute, with proven business analysis and planning experience. The ability to deal with non-finance staff will also be a prerequisite together with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
