Job description

Major FMCG business looking to recruit a FP&A Analyst with strong experience on Hyperion Planning. We are looking for a qualified Financial Analyst (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with proven experience of using, administering and developing Hyperion software (Hyperion Planning, Essbase or Smartview). Bringing a strong systems focus to build calculations, business rules and data forms in Hyperion. Key responsibilities include: support the delivery of the FP&A objective of step changing the planning, forecasting and performance processes so as to: deliver improved understanding of trends, risks and opportunities; improved ability to action plan and course correct, and; drive efficiency and robustness in the forecasting process; owning the ongoing development and administration of Hyperion Planning to support the performance, planning and forecasting processes; creation and analysis of the GB Scorecards; preparing insight for the GB Finance Exec team to use with their business partners including the GB Operating Committee; identify and champion process improvements, using a business partnering approach with key stakeholders and where necessary lead work streams or small projects to deliver such improvements; prepare insightful and impactful analysis that aims to challenge current and future business performance, enabling business decision-making by provoking challenge and debate; ensure key financial forecasting information is adequately safeguarded and associated processes are properly documented and understood within the team to minimise ‘single point of failure’ risk. The role provides an excellent opportunity to be closely involved in crucial work for a renowned leader in the FMCG market.
