Our client is a leading UK consumer business, with a turnover in excess of £500 million, privately owned and engaged in a major fast-paced, business transformation initiative. The process of change provides great challenge and opportunity to the Finance team and has prompted the recruitment of a number of business-critical roles.
The role will evolve, as the business change process proceeds, so that the emphasis will increasingly be upon ensuring that the top Management team receive the most useful insight into business performance from an FP&A function actively identifying key business issues in a positive fashion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of operating budgets.
- Development of business financial modelling and forecasting.
- Analysis of business results.
- Identification of key trends.
You must be a qualified Accountant and able to demonstrate the excellence of your work within financial planning and analysis. To succeed you will need to be able to evidence your delivery of results against tight deadlines and within highly commercial situations.
The new recruit will be responsible for managing a significant team in a positive fashion to ensure the highest possible levels of service. The role will interact with a wide variety of colleagues and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally will be a prerequisite for success.
