Job description
A large, international business based in Guildford is recruiting an FP&A Manager to head up the FP&A area of the business. You will join the business on a fixed term contract basis to cover maternity; a high profile international business with parking on site; 40 minutes by train from Central London; available to start a new contract at relatively short notice. You will be highly commercial and will be fully conversant with the Finance drivers for sales and marketing. You will be a strong communicator used to liaising with all levels of finance and non-finance professionals based both in the UK and overseas; strong analytical background and extensive experience of providing budgeting and forecasting support to a large international business. Ideally you will have experience of managing staff and leading a small FP&A team. You should have strong IT skills including experience of using a system such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel skills. Responsibilities: manage a member of staff and will head up the FP&A area; managing and supporting 1-2 direct reports within the FP&A team; management and responsibility for the budgeting process; attending weekly, monthly and quarterly management meetings and presenting latest financials to the Senior Management team; providing ad hoc decision support to the MD; managing month end and monthly forecasting process; responsibility for overall finance decisions with respect to month end, monthly forecasting and budgeting.
