Job description
Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for this well known global Hi-tech giant based near Uxbridge. This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly world-class organisation with scope for excellent career development. This is the Planning Lead role within the Finance team. The primary accountability of this role is the annual plan build & analysis; along with the development and production of a performance management pack. The Enterprise Systems Finance team exists to provide high quality financial control, support and analysis to underpin the divisions operations. Managing a total gross cost base of $250m, the Finance team is key to ensuring efficient delivery & the maintenance and improvement of financial control processes across the divisions scope of operations around the world. The Planning Lead is accountable for managing the plan process involving: clear communication of time lines & deliverables; robust analysis and challenge of budget holder submissions; delivery against all central planning requests and providing insight to Senior Management around the risks or opportunities within the plan. In addition they will lead the development of a new performance reporting process and deck/dashboard. The successful Finance Manager/Lead Analyst will be qualified Accountant. Advanced Excel/modelling skills are a must as are strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information, and then present to senior management. Key skills: experience of planning processes and systems within a large, complex organisation; ideally with SAP, BW, Excel; experience of working to tight time deadlines & managing conflicting priorities.
