Job description
This is a Planning Lead Role within the IT services division. The primary accountability of this role is the annual plan build and analysis, along with the development and production of a performance management pack. This division provides a global IT service across this large and complex organisation. The IT Finance team exists to provide high quality financial control, support and analysis to underpin their operations. Managing a total gross cost base of $250m, the IT Finance team is a key to ensuring efficient delivery and the maintenance and improvement of financial control processes across scope of operations around the world. The Planning Lead is accountable for managing the plan process, involving: clear communication of timelines & deliverables; robust analysis and challenge of budget holder submissions; delivery against all central planning requests and providing insight around the risks or opportunities within the plan. In addition they will lead. Requirements: recognised accounting qualification: preferably CIMA or ACA, ACCA; advanced Excel/modelling skills; strong analytical skills; ability to interpret complex information and then present to senior management; understands planning processes and systems within a large/global, complex organisation; ideally with SAP, BW, Excel; works to tight time deadlines and managing conflicting priorities.
