Job description

This is a newly created role has the capacity to grow and evolve very quickly, within this large scale Financial Services business. The role will have specific responsibility for leading planning activities covering certain business areas and planning processes, operating within a close knit team environment. The role reports to the Senior Planning Manager. The Planning team is responsible for coordinating and delivering the 3 year business plan and the quarterly forecasts including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and capital measures, together with statutory and economic solvency measures, with a range of KPIs. The purpose of this specific role is to support key strategic and tactical activities in order that the 3 year plan and quarterly forecasts are delivered. Experience: ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant; ideally from practice; financial planning; people management; strong understanding of Financial Services accounting; large organisation exposure; influencing abilities and delegation skills; well rounded and technically very strong. This is an extremely commercial role and requires high level exposure to senior management. Exceptional career opportunities are on offer as well as a strong salary and package.
