Job description
Our client a house hold name is looking to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. The role supports senior management and requires commercial acumen, strategic insights, a broad perspective, rigorous analysis, proactive challenge and advice, and an exceptional execution. The Purpose of the role is to: build and manage the financial planning and forecasting processes with the regional units in order to: support the annual target setting; understand the regional drivers of top and bottom line growth; challenge and investigate results, checking in particular progress towards plan achievement for each region; assess global business risk profile and summarise for senior management evaluation; manage the quarterly update processes and business analysis to formalise the forecast revision; align with the regions and coordinate their plan/update submission and sign off; prepare executive level presentation materials and reports for the above deliverables; prepare insightful analytics for the forecasting and planning processes; and on ad hoc basis throughout the year particularly post publication of the actual results in a robust fashion and presented in a simple to understand style; actively support the functional interaction with the regions, maintaining a constructive working partnership. We are looking for someone fully qualified (ACA/CIMA etc) with a proven record of success in a matrix environment with multiple customers across departments, markets etc. You will be have excellent analytical skills and the ability to proactively challenge and advise.
