Job description
Our client is a leading Media company. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accountant to join the European team as a Financial Reporting Manager on a 12 months contract to assist in the preparation of consolidated group budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting. Duties will include: consolidation of monthly actual and rolling full year forecast data, and of the five-year annual budget for a highly complicated, international group structure, prepare consolidation adjustments for investment eliminations, minority interests and equity accounting within a complex group structure, provide advice and expertise on reporting and forecasting application to accounting teams in regions and business units across the group, provide input to the production of quarterly board reports explaining variances to prior year and budget. Take ownership of specific sections of the reports as directed by the FC. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with experience of international group consolidation within an FTSE 250 business.
