Job description
My client, a leading Energy company with a national presence, is currently sourcing a Financial Reporting Manager. Based in Surrey, this role would be an ideal move for a qualified Big 4 ACA looking to make their move from Practice. You will work closely with a small team but be a part of a wider Finance function that supports the entire UK business. Your duties will include: managing production of statutory and regulatory returns; control and review of the balance sheet on an ongoing basis; ad hoc financial analysis and reporting on a regular basis that will include focusing on pensions, financial instruments and other related matters as and when required. This is an ideal role for someone looking to make a move from Practice into a commercial organisation. Ideally you will be a Big 4 qualified ACA with large company/PLC audit experience. Experience of auditing within the Energy sector would be beneficial but is not essential. You will regularly liaise with senior management internally as well as external stakeholders and must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills. The role will be technically demanding and sits within a high profile team that works to tight reporting deadlines. As such you will need to be skilled at managing your time and workload effectively and will have hones these skills whilst working in audit. In return my client can offer a challenging and rewarding entry role into a large business that is part of a much larger group. My client is a leading Energy business with a national presence. Headquartered in Surrey, the company is an established business with a large Finance team that can offer good opportunities for career progression. Salary on offer is c£50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
