Job description

A world renowned blue chip firm, this business enjoys a strong corporate profile and has consistently delivered results which position them at the forefront of the industry. Following an internal secondment, the company has identified the need for an individual with strong technical capabilities to lead the Financial Accounting processes at Group level. Reporting to the Group FC, responsibilities include: leading the group financial and statutory accounting, ensuring reporting is delivered in a timely and accurate fashion; managing complex group consolidations from central and subsidiary operations; reporting to the Board of Directors on company financial performance; working with the Technical Manager to communicate relevant IFRS updates to the business and senior management; leading a team of qualified accounts in all elements of group statutory reporting; interfacing with stakeholders at both group and divisional level. This is a high profile role and enjoys exposure to key decision makers across the business. The successful candidate will hold full accountancy qualifications, ideally ACA gained within a top-tier Practice. You will combine strong technical skills with a track record of IFRS reporting and exposure to Group consolidations.
