Job description
Reporting to the FC and taking a pivotal role in a medium sized Finance team, you will take line management responsibility for 5 transactions processing administrators for a £70million turnover Manufacturing business in West Yorkshire. Joining the business at a time of unprecedented growth following substantial investment from the owners, your remit will include day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable, Credit Control and Cash Allocation teams. You will have responsibility for the full end to end purchase ledger process including payment of suppliers, reconciliation of supplier accounts and processing payments to suppliers including foreign currency payments. In addition you will manage the process of receiving incoming cash, payment allocation ledger and bank reconciliations and query investigation. As Transactions Supervisor you will also have responsibility for setting and monitoring credit limits and monitoring receipts of overdue payments. Working closely with the FC you will have a key role in the month end close process as well as providing ongoing statistical analysis of the businesses performance. In order to be considered, you should be an accomplished Transactions Supervisor with previous experience from both a purchase ledger and sales ledger/credit control team.
