Job description
An exceptional opportunity exists for a Big 4 qualified, Chartered Accountant with industry experience to join my client as a Financial and Controls Accountant. In a broad role, reporting to the FC you will be responsible for both ensuring compliance of finance policies and reporting financial information via month end work, budgeting, analysis and forecasts. This is a large business with many complex issues and multiple sites and the role will cover the following duties: to carry out Sarbanes-Oxley work; to ensure compliance with revenue recognitions standards; preparing management accounts; forecasting; variance analysis; ad hoc project work; to support FC in their duties. The role will be best suited to an ACA qualified Accountant with knowledge and experience of UK and US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley work. You will have a sound compliance background and experience if an ERP accounting system. My client offers excellent career prospects and a positive working environment.
