Job description

Our client, a leading Financial Services company, is recruiting a French Credit Controller. The Credit Control team provides excellent sales ledger management service to their export and import clients. As an International Credit Controller you will be responsible for: achieving a high standard of credit control by effectively collecting outstanding debts for each client in line with their requirements; efficiently manage your own portfolio of clients by resolving queries and concerns on overdue invoices, payment facilities, funding and cash flow, whilst maintaining reconciled ledgers. You must be able to minimise potential bad debts by taking the appropriate actions and developing a good understanding of the Litigation process and credit assessment. You must be a team player with the will to assist and provide help for colleagues when necessary whilst working on your own initiative and making clear decisions. In addition, you will have high levels of personal organisation and self-motivation, and proven customer service skills in a previous customer-facing role. You will need a confident and professional telephone manner; strong attention to detail, and good IT skills with the ability to learn internal databases and a Windows based internal system.
