Job description
Alexander Daniels is working in partnership with an internationally recognised Retail brand name, located in the Birmingham region. Alexander Daniels is looking to recruit a talented French Speaking Financial Accountant to join the well-established international Finance function. This role is a result of steady organic growth along with some recent major acquisitions. Whilst trading has been extremely tough this business has been able to continue steady growth. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with enough experience to step up into a senior position within this business. As well as English, you’ll need to be fluent in French. Working closely with European colleagues, identifying areas for improvement and streamlining processes within the Financial Accounting team. Preparing month end accounts for multi-sited/departmental organisations. Produce quarterly and year end accounts, budgets, forecasts including preparing for subsidiaries undertakings within the group. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a proven track record. Good interpersonal skills and a high degree of business acumen.
