Job description
Our client is a niche, opportunistic pan-European Real Estate Investment Manager which is acquisitive and closing another fund; as a result they require an additional Property/Fund Accountant to join their head office team. The role will report to the head of finance and will: assume control of day-to-day property/asset level accounting for a given portfolio; reconcile associated returns from external parties; monitor and control costs/budgets/Capex etc. where necessary and ensure expenses are maintained within budget; maintain a watching brief on asset management issues and therefore will need a commercial and financial driven mind to help maximise revenue; produce monthly and quarterly reports at asset level and liaise with external third parties (managing agents etc. ) as appropriate. The person: to apply you will ideally be a qualified graduate Accountant form industry (ACA/ACCA) and have had real estate/property exposure (with an emphasis on private equity). You will be commercial and dynamic but not afraid of ‘detail’ and ‘hands-on’ work. You will be personable whilst also being robust and calm under pressure. Additionally you will be a ‘transparent’ and bright self-starter seeking to commit and grow ones career. Please note that due to volume we cannot get back to everyone, however every application is looked at and considered and will be held on Trident International’s database for review. If you have not heard back from us within 5 working days you should assume your initial application has been unsuccessful, however if suitable roles arise in the future we will make every effort to contact you. We will make every effort to reply to all applications, but this may not always be possible.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
