Job description
DST Global Solutions, a major player in software-based solutions for the Investment Management industry, is looking to recruit a Fund Accountant to ensure DST and its clients are well informed on the trends, requirements and issues facing Fund Accountants and that our solutions address these needs.
Key Objectives:
- Provide a proactive advisory service to DST teams throughout the business that is informative, useful and relevant through a multiple and changing communication media to include one-to-one meetings, newsletters workshops and white papers.
- Work with the Solutions and Development teams to ensure the HiPortfolio solution has required functionality integral to it as a solution.
- Be a recognised speaker and opinion former in the marketplace on Fund Accounting issues through regular conference and industry events, professional associations and publication of articles and papers in industry and academic journals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience as a Fund Accountant.
- Advisory and/or consulting experience a distinct advantage.
- Engaging personality with an ability to deal with people at all levels.
- Patience and the ability to get 'back to basics' to educate non expert staff.
- Comfortable in front of groups and good presentation (written and verbal) skills.
- Self-motivated with the talent, skills, knowledge and desire to remain at the forefront of Fund Accounting practice.
