Job description

This highly successful US owned Software business has a strong European presence and is looking to grow its market share. It is a business that develops and promotes its staff and due to this it is looking for a General Ledger Manager EMEA. Reporting to the EMEA FD, you will have responsibility for a team of General Ledger Accountants and be responsible for the timely and accurate accounting for 25 legal entities across the EMEA region, ensure accurate management accounts for 20 entities via the general ledger accounting in US GAAP and the production of UK statutory accounts for 3 legal entities. The role is key to maintaining the company’s robust Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA or ACCA with a proven track in leading a General Ledger team and have experience of accounting under US and UK GAAP. You will have experience of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and working to tight financial controls. You’ll have ability to build strong working relationships across the business and across geographies.
