Job description
One of the largest Financial Services organisations is currently recruiting for a very exciting opportunity for its office in Zurich. With asset management, wealth management, investment banking and business banking this organisation has positioned itself as a leader and boast Europe's most highly regarded team of Equity Analysts and a revered Finance team. This role will see you to provide tax advice and support in respect of the EMEA investment fund/asset management business with specific duties including: providing tax advice to the business in respect of the launch and ongoing management and distribution of investment funds and similar products, to identify relevant tax risks and to provide advice to the business in respect of ongoing management of tax risk through the product life cycle; informing the business in respect of consultations and developments in tax law and practice relevant to the business; reporting to and working together with the Global Head of Operational Tax in all areas within the EMEA business. In this high profile role within the organisation you will be influential in how the business operates going forward, therefore you will: have experience of working in asset management taxation, ideally working in the tax department of a similar type of organisation; be a qualified Accountant; have a good knowledge of the general principles of, and issues arising with, the taxation of regulated investment funds domiciled in Luxembourg and at least one other EU jurisdiction.
