Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Global Audit and Risk Manager with a truly global business. This FTSE 100 business operates in over 180 companies and employs 20,000 people worldwide. You will be part of a large, highly skilled and ambitious Internal Audit team with a track record of success and progression into the business. The Global Audit and Risk team is seen as a breeding ground for future talent of the business and actively promotes as many people as possible into the business. The main responsibilities of the role include: delivering risk based internal audit reviews; provide concise and cost effective recommendations to senior management to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls; build and develop relationships with senior stakeholders in the business to help promote global risk and audit. This is a highly autonomous role and you will be responsible for managing and delivering your own workload. The ideal candidate will have a solid financial audit background as well as holding an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent). You will have previous experience within Internal Audit ideally in an international business. Due to the global nature of the business and department, candidates must be prepared to travel up to 70% of the time.
