Job description
One of Oxford’s leading companies, the market leader in its sector and with offices in over 50 countries worldwide, is looking to appoint a Graduate Assistant Systems Accountant to join its Central Finance team in conveniently located offices just outside the city centre. As part of the Financial Systems team the role will assist in administering the IT systems used in UK Finance, participate in the implementation of new systems, enhancements and upgrades and assist in the preparation of financial accounts for some of the UK divisions. Another aspect of the role will be preparing training materials and supporting staff within finance and the business elsewhere in the use of systems and finance processes. The ideal candidate will either be a systems orientated graduate looking to work in a finance environment or someone with previous accounting experience, possibly studying for ACMA/ACCA/AAT who can able to demonstrate an interest in systems. They must also be enthusiastic, work well within a team and be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
