Job description
This successful PLC business is looking to fill a newly created role in their Yorkshire head office. The successful candidate will be involved with the full cycle of group accounting work within a fast growing PLC environment. The role will involve preparing and producing the group financial accounts, year end consolidated statutory financial statements, consolidated group management accounts, some cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, supporting the group forecasting and budgeting processes and ad hoc mergers and acquisitions work. The ideal candidate will be making their first move from a large, professional services, organisation (Top 10 firm) and will be keen to learn from the experienced team with a view to progressing towards a Controller type position in the future. Candidates should ideally be ACA qualified, at the top of their peer group, technically competent and interpersonally strong. In the current market, this role is unrivalled. It offers excellent progression in a fast growing and profitable PLC environment. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full-time without restriction.
